We held a factory tour and workshop at the Seki Factory Open House.

Our Seki Plant hosted a factory tour and workshop during the Seki Factory Open House, held on November 13 (Thu) and 14 (Fri).

The Seki Factory Open House is an event designed to showcase the appeal of Seki City, a “manufacturing town” known for its diverse industries, including cutlery production.
By opening factories that are not usually accessible to the public and offering hands-on workshops, the event aims to help visitors understand the technical capabilities of local industries, the quality of their products, and the craftsmanship behind them. It also seeks to build a fan base for local companies and promote interest in skill succession and talent development.

At our company, in addition to a factory tour introducing the manufacturing process of transmission components such as gears, we held a workshop where participants could enjoy learning about how gears work.
During the tour, visitors experienced the real atmosphere of our production site up close, and in the workshop, people of all ages—from children to adults—enjoyed the appeal of manufacturing.

We were delighted to receive feedback from visitors such as “It was very educational” and “It was really interesting,” which made the event truly rewarding for all of our staff.
