We held a factory tour and workshop in Higashiura Town.

Our company (Head Office Plant) hosted a factory tour and workshop as part of the event
“Discover the Secrets of Our Town DAY in Higashiura – Learn Manufacturing through Factory Tours and Workshops!” held on Tuesday, November 25, a prefectural school holiday.

This event is an initiative aimed at helping elementary and junior high school students living in Higashiura Town spend the school holiday meaningfully, with local companies offering factory tours and hands-on workshops.

At our company, under the theme “Learn How Gears Work! Hands-on Manufacturing Workshop,” participants were able to tour the production site of automotive transmission components (gears) and take part in a workshop using LEGO to experience how gears mesh and transmit power.

On the day of the event, participants engaged enthusiastically in both the factory tour and workshop. It appeared that people of all ages—from children to adults—enjoyed the experience.
We are very pleased that it became a meaningful and educational opportunity for everyone involved.
